Am I " Too Respectful"?
Am I " Too Respectful"? This is not a complaint, but i think i get so wrapped up in trying to present the best of my personality that i can with someone.. i tend to forget to be lewd. Again, i don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, but some times.. someone will get bored and move on. When i REALLY get to know someone, i don't have a problem being lewd. I just can't be that way with a stranger online. But why should i? I feel like such an ass whenever i do say something out of character and way too soon to be remotely appropriate. Just because your profile pic is a naked part, that doesn't mean that i should immediately refer to your naked part... right? Back to my question though, i see that women are always asking for a man to be respectful of her, I've tried to rely on a woman to let me know when she is ready to take it to that next level, otherwise i end up with a tiger by the tail who starts comparing me to Charles Manson. On the same note, is it up to me to take the initiative? Plus, i think i have ended up with enough bipolar women on one night stands already. I just feel like i may get boring to someone who wants to move a little faster. |

If you're actually looking for one night stands then I suppose regrets over "the one that got away" are understandable - smile. But on the assumption that you're looking for only a single (or single-digit number) friend or two, then if you're gonna err . . . erring on the side of caution makes better sense to me than being lewd-perceived-as-rude-or-crude. Especially if that feeling of occasionally being an ass is one you would rather not experience again. Boring is something else entirely. According to me, the choice is seldom going to be between lewd and boring. And according to me also, from the handful of your blog-posts I've seen, being boring isn't a common problem for you. So when in doubt, go with respectfully lewd. I'm pretty sure that lewd has a volume-control. Just avoid turning it up past the max.
