assertive versus aggressive

Why is it that some men are intimidated by strong, assertive women? Don't get me wrong, I don't mean a dominant woman. I still like the man to be strong and assertive as well. I mean when you are talking and you bring up a meeting first. Or when you meet you make the first move to let him know you are interested. Or even when you are seeing each other and you're really horny and jump on him the first chance you get.

I'm interested to hear what men think of that. Does it turn you off or make you hot knowing she wants you?
