I'm so much cooler online!

You may have heard the country song "I'm so much cooler online" Well for some people that's true. Those of us looking for real companionship try to be honest and up front. Others, not so much. Online dating is kind of like applying for a job. You sell yourself with words, but eventually you have to meet face to face. If you have exaggerated or lied do you think they won't realize that? Like the "catfish" phenomenon...your true identity will be discovered. So why bother playing with people's emotions and feelings?

Be honest, be yourself, you will find someone who will like the real you. They will enjoy being with you, not what you can offer them. People will forget what you say, they will never forget how you make them feel.

But be careful for what you wish for …
