I don't really expect face photos. They are nice, but they can often be misleading, especially on this site. Like Quiet said, if it is someone that I would want to meet (which at this stage in my life, I am not going to meet anyone) I would want to see their face on webcam before meeting them. ...

I am interested in meeting someone, so seeing a face pic is important but like hidden mythology said they can also be misleading. I tend to put more importance on the whole picture, the height/weight ratio etc. That tells me more about a persons lifestyle than a face photo. A pretty lady with a big smile is hard to not to like though-

I would like a pic within a few messages. If there is absolutely no attraction than why continue and vice versa. Why waste our time. Although I agree pics can be misleading.

I certainly hope to receive one in return when I send mine (if one is not on their profile), which I always do on my first email since none if on my profile. I also offer my, and hope to receive their, real first name in that first email. 1s and 0s and Is and Os Room with a View Not Quite Stockings on HNW [post 3312759] My Private Blog – Tell me your secrets

I like to know whom I am going to meet so I would expect a recent face photo when we set up a meeting. I would also provide one to them at that time.

I would say within the first few messages is fair, I would be reluctant to send a face pic until I thought the person was genuine but also like to see who I'm talking to so either a few minutes of chatting or after a few messages seems fair to both parties.

I think that after a few conversations and especially before meeting I want to see at least one face pic.

I like to see faces. In the profile would be nice, but I understand that for reasons of privacy that's impractical for a lot of people. It would be nice to have a face picture of anyone who becomes a frequent enough correspondent that it feels safe to break anonymity, and certainly something I'd expect if there were any thought of meeting in person.
