This is a smart list, and one that most couples (and, wotthehell, poly arrangements) would benefit from using as a conversation starter. Not all of these items would apply to all situations, of course, but I'd add one: 48. Cook together. And really cook together, as in all of you working on the same dishes at the same time. Even if you're in the kitchen together, every person working only on his/her own dish has the feeling of a potluck meal. What you should be going for is a shared nurturing experience. Practiced most of them, though two wives came in the bath and held it while I peed --- doing it standing up is the real penis envy. And Sarah and I did have a television in the bedroom because she liked to watch porn with me as foreplay. Sarah was a big tit man. I find women mysterious enough without having to worry about maintaining it. I can boil it all down though to one thing. Never stop courting each other. Act as if you still have to win her if you are married fifty years and she as if she has to seduce you. Tell each other you love each other, never assume she knows it. It's work, it doesn't just happen. Sarah and Angelique and I both agreed to never carry anything over into the bedroom. Even if we wanted to kill each other in the kitchen, we had sex and cuddling in the bedroom (sometimes angry sex, but still ...) . If we were both well we had some sexual contact every day and usually every morning and at bedtime. No day we were together in either relationship ever went by without at least one sexy long kiss. After Sarah died it took a time for me to recognize that the reason I was waking up so early and honry was I was used to being awakened by a blow job. I used to do things as little as pick up a silk rose or favorite candy bar when I stopped for gas, wake early and go for coffee, apple fritters, and the papers Sunday morning so we could spend the day in bed (I cooked on Sunday for Sarah because she did the rest of the week). Sarah said she was already spoiled rotten, I just ruined her. I hope so. What use is loving someone if you don't spoil them? Lust brings you together, love keeps you there, sex keeps the mechanism lubricated.

Good list. I found myself in an email conversation with a married guy recently, who (as usual) said he was here because the wife had no interest in sex, but in all other aspects of their marriage, everything was good. And I did the lecture about how him being on this site trying to hook up with other women isn't going to improve the situation with his wife, and will make EVERYTHING dramatically worse if she were to find out. Dudes say they've tried EVERYTHING - but I wonder if they truly have. I seriously doubt it.
