The blogging gods are against me

ok. Sessions over. Was in meetings all day today with workmates so no time to post.

Everything is over. Heading home in the morning. Nice dinner with work mates. Head back to my room with visions of a couple of hours on HotMatch.com before bed time. It's going to be nice. Turn on the laptop ready to go

WTF????

HotMatch.com is now blocked by the hotels web service. Damn

I grab my iPhone to post. No signal.

I can see the ATT building outside my window and I can't get a signal

So here I am in the bar downstairs making a post on my cell phone. Not the same as a keyboard and monitor. Shit I'm 60 and have a hard time reading on a 27 inch screen and I'm doing it on a phone. Please pardon any grammar or splling errors

But hey I'm a lucky man

I survived four days with 9,000 geeks and accountants.

And in the morning I'm going home to a keyboard and monitor. And oh yeah, to an Internet connection that doesn't bock me from talking to my friends

 Bob, I got this mental picture of you on top of that building, an electrical storm on the horizon with lightening everywhere, raising a laptop in your hand, tie undone shouting "curse ye blogging Gods !!" at the top of your lungs.

 Good for you for being able to post using a cell. Like you, I dislike those tiny screens. I use a widescreen Dell 19 inch screen now, and my next computer will be even larger.

Although I do admit I love my tiny Samsung TL210 camera that I take with me everywhere...

It sound like HotMatch.com has definitely grabbed you. Well, there can be much worse addictions!!

Posting on the cell was hard...but I would not be deterred!!!

I don't even carry a camera around anymore...the camera in my cell is better than the one I have.

And yes...it has grabbed me... for better or for worse.
