Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder

In your opinion, what is the most beautiful man-made object in the world?

So many others come to mind. I need to think about this a bit.

Your title says it all, it all depends on the person doing the looking. Personally, I see the MP3 player as one of the most beautiful things ever. MP3 player??? Why on Earth would someone choose that?

Because mine can hold over 1,400 songs and without music life would be a mistake

The Kaufman house is probably #2 and his price tower would be #1.FLLW a man ahead of his tme.

There are too many for me to be voted the "best." The Kaufmann House (Fallingwater) is one, hybrid orchids, most paintings and sketches by Gustav Klimt, BOB (Battery Operated Boyfriend) because of all the pleasure, smiles, smells, sounds, liquids they, in all their shapes and sizes bring.

We shouldn't forget computers for without them, I wouldn't be able to read your words and be a participant in your sharing of your self and the pleasure I derive from those experiences.

Fallingwater seems the most popular answer. Imitation of natural beauty. Nothing beats nature.

I'm going to answer "Fallingwater" aka the Kaufmann house. However as noted earlier, it imitates the beauty in nature. Mr Wright had an uncanny ability to do that.

As many said, this question was difficult to answer. I found that I was coming up with answers that were natural, or beautiful because they were made with natural materials. And then there were objects that awe, but are not necessarily beautiful.

Cliff dwellings in the Mesa Verde area
The Taj Mahal
Some of Monet's paintings, or Van Gogh, or how Norman Rockwell captures the ordinary.
The simplistic sweetness of a Hershey's kiss and the design, there is a lot of man-made wonderful in that little package.

There are amazing! I think the pyramid might be the best, remember they didn't have modern tools to built it.

While a stretch, the Kiss is on the right track. Great beauty does not need to be forced. It just is. While I love Fallingwater (even though, as a house, it is shit), its striving ultimately limits its beauty.
So my choice is the thing that is not chosen, whose beauty is so great we cannot see it. RIght now a spiced jelly bean...

I love jelly beans and did so much as a kid that my dad teased me affectionately about it. However chocolate is equally a favorite today. And it has some nutritional value and is less harmful for the teeth, so I vote it a better beauty.

The kiss has sexy curves, melts in your mouth, it's a truly beautiful experience.

I just bought a large size bag of the beauties. I'll be doing a lot of sinning over the next few weeks.

I've always been a big fan of glass and crystal...

as for children, wouldn't they count, at least in part, as womanmade?

Yes, but too obvious an answer. The idea is to stretch our brains a bit and interact for a second or two.

I have a glass whale that is beautiful in some ways. A local glassblower made it for my daughter with a piece of extra glass that was left when he blew a vase in front of us. After years of it sitting on a livingroom shelf, I experimented one morning with it. It makes a very pleasurable dildo.

Obviously today my mind is on sensual pleasures.

almost everything in beautiful in it's own way. To me there's nothing more beautiful then a women's body. Truly it is a work of art!!
