What I'm doing today, isn't getting me anywhere tomorrow.......it's out of my hands... WITHOUT PASSION LIFE IS NOTHING

I'm not sure if I am just very selective or a little timid about meeting new folks, but I have to say I feel I have been pretty lucky on this site. My list of men that I have met and ended up with is probably shorter than some that have been on here for, I don't know maybe 5 years or so. But the ones I did end up with have truly been really great guys. Each one ended up being long term. I think the shortest one was about 8 months and ended because he moved away. I have learned much about myself and more about men since being on here. The most surprising thing was that not ALL the men on here are only here for the sex. Yes, that is a big part of it, at least at first, but the fact that each one ended up long term says something in itself. As I am in an open marriage, (no judging please) I am not looking for something permanent so am very pleased how well this site has worked for me. I was looking for someone to spend time with on a regular basis and for long term and that is what I was able to find. Perhaps the fact that we both knew it would not end up a permanent thing made it easier, I'm not sure. But Don't give up!!! I actually know several couples that met on here and ended up married..... shocker!!! lol It can happen though, the men are out there and there are some really nice decent ones so keep on keeping on....it can happen. Just be sure to also keep an eye out in real life. Good luck to you, I hope you find who you are looking for....

I've got mixed feelings about this site lately too. It's been a weird journey for me because I've met really great women who have become my friends. But the men? Yeah, not so much. Makes me wonder why I even bother to log on anymore...and then I remember I get to read your blog and a couple other cool bloggers.

I haven't "given up" on this site. (obviously) But I no longer have any expectations from it. .. For 'me' there are people here who are open to getting involved with someone, and that's all it takes to keep me here. I took myself out of the "game" years ago. Although I do know how to "play", I'm getting too old for that. I pretty much just blog now. Just like always. ... There is a difference in our "areas". Florida is a much more populated and active place than the Midwest, so my approach may be different because of that. -- Side note: I recently updated my profile and shot for the moon as to what I'm looking for. I listed three almost unachievable criteria. It's besides the point, but you might actually meet those. .. btw, I'm not hitting on you. Just saying. I know you're not into "tourists". (I am open to them.) ---  I have given this too much thought.  lol -- I do enjoy blogging with you.  ---- So I am just here. .. I treat this place like a social media site where I can share things and put stuff 'out there' that I can't put on the face place. Just blogging (logging in daily) here has opened up opportunities before. At least I know I am still "out there" in some capacity. I am much pickier than when I first came here. I have met some wonderful people, but also some losers too. It is was it is.
