It's just a word, but...........




Is there a word that makes you grit your teeth every time you hear it?

My word at the moment is..........ICONIC.

It was used in an ad on the radio, I can't even remember which ad it was.
Then it seemed every 2nd ad had to use it.

Don't even know why it bugs me, it just does.

very unique...

very unique?,,,,the fact something is unique...makes it that, its like being slightly pregnant..or a little bit dead...its unique or it isnt.

 Just over used of words drives me crazy in a conversation. I have a friend uses 'fuck' a lot. It carry many meanings.

You're right. Unique doe not need another word in front of it. Being unique says it all.

The one that really pisses me off is 'journey', every one is on a fucking journey at the moment, ye ken what I mean?? How can ye be on a journey in a reality TV show where you're stuck in a fucking house with a dozen other idiots for several weeks? Journey, my arse! Bah!

 "LIKE"

It shits me to tears when people say 'like' at the end of every second word. If they speak to me in that way, I usually just respond with "What?"

I also hate the use of the word....LIKE.
Seems that young girls are unable to speak unless they use it.
