Wow i feel like i won the lottery. For the past 15 years u have been asking to make small improvements to the house. Things like a new faucet in the bath room, or painting the room, ceiling fan/light combo in the bedroom.

Of course i have big things on my list too. A new roof , new windows and even though i rarly step foot in the kitchen the cabnits have to be replaced.

My husband us NOT the "handy" type of guy. He is an accountant, who only gets his hands dirty while in his garden. But cars and houses are not his thing.

Now also being the accountant type....spending money is not his thing either, uf its not "broke" do not fix it....so yes nothing is broken....yet but does need updated and all around just a little nicer. It was a starter home that has turned into our retirement home....lol.

Sooooo, he finally after 15 of crunching the numbers...he agreed to refi the house and use the equity to make some umprovements.

Since June, we now have a new roof and gutters, 2 new windows on order, my sons room painted and daughters room is getting new paint this weekend, kitchen cabinits will be in before labor day and a new stove is on layaway....

I should be jumping up and down with these improvements and upgrades, but i am so worn out from asking and shopping and begging for the past 15 years.but i am just wore out...lol

So now what will I do with all my free time....lol

I dont dare ask for new carpet in the living room until we retire....lol

 Oh I don't blame you, I wouldn't ask for carpet after that LOL I went throught the same thing...ugh...I understand
