BELIEVING IN SOME STRANGE STUFF BELIEVING IN SOME STRANGE STUFF Some people aren't contented to go on from day to day, working as a wage slave, and then coming home to turn on the TUBE and suck in all the pablum put out by the corporate news factories... I've always been one of those people who seems to have been born cynical about most everything. I'm like five strands of different colored house wire, twisted together and tied off with a wire nut. I would certainly not classify myself as being white bread, like Romyna and her family (my first wife and her kin), liked to call me. Someone like Pat Boone, do you remember him? is what I consider a "White Bread" person. A white bread person is someone who is like..."Duh, bring me another beer when you come back in, will you Alice" I'm so screwed that I believe in time travel, and UFO's, and hidden underground military bases where research that would scare the be-G-sus out of the NORMAL person. Much of it--the research being done--would make the man on the street have severe nightmares if he ACTUALLY knew what was going on. My brain wires are so miss-connected that I believe HIV was a research project that was PURPOSELY let out of the lab by Neo-Christians who hate their own suppressed homosexual desires. They hate those suppressed desires so much that they want to murder every greer in the world. (And subconsciously, of course, themselves). I believe in global warming. I think the melting of the world's ice caps, and the warming of the oceans, is changing the world's weather to the point where some places on Earth will soon become uninhabitable. Deep inside me, I believe that life on millions of other planets exists in this strange universe we all live in. Did you know that scientists have just found out, by using complicated mathematical formulas, that 80%, yes, eighty percent of the LIGHT in our section of the Cosmos is MISSING? There's plenty of esoteric stuff in this life we're all in together to keep us occupied without the need to constantly be at each other's throats the way humans have always been. Since the first humans lived in caves, we've been at constant war with the guys in the cave down the trail beyond the hanging vines. I believe that all life on this planet is connected with all the other life, and perhaps even to the living things on other planets. Some force that's not magical or Godlike, but only something "WE" haven't been able to understand yet-- and may never unravel, links everything together. The scientific field of Quantum Mechanics Physics is starting to zero in on some of this strange stuff, and if we humans don't blow ourselves up first, perhaps in a thousand years, humans will be able to understand and use some of this strange stuff. To make the lives of even those poor people living in Latin America and trying to force their way into our country, better than it is now, seems to me to be a worthwhile goal... Me too, C. I feel really fortunate to be living at a time where KNOWLEDGE is so easy to acquire. Everything is on the Internet. We don't have to spend a fortune buying books or traveling miles to a library, We can GOOGLE all the knowledge in the world at our desks in our own homes.
