I love old movies and Hitchcock is one of my favorites except for "Rope". I didn't like that movie at all. It's also fun to take some courses on film genres, etc. because we live in such a visual and iconic world and films are loaded with visual symbols.

What an awesome post. Do you read Steve Berry? he and is wife Elizabeth sponsor History Matters a foundation to preserve hisstory the same way your movie theatre has been preserved.
It's one way of keeping genre heritage available for generations to come

If they show Rear Window, go see it... that's one of my favorites. I love me some Jimmy Stewart. Plus Grace Kelly is absofuckinglutely gorgeous in it.

I love Strangers on a Train, "Criss-Cross".

He made a movie in the UK, before he came to the US, called, Sabatoge which became very controversial in its time because it involved the death of a child, that was something that was still rather taboo in the 30s.

Good on you for supporting such a worthy endeavor.
