Greetings from Eureka Springs! A group of girlfriends and I rented a lake house on Beaver lake near Eureka Springs, Arkansas for a long four day weekend. For those who have not been here, it's definitely worth the trip. Unfortunately I ended up with a broken toe after the wind slammed the car door on my sandalled foot. That's perfectly fine with me. It gives me an excuse to hang back at the lake house with an adult beverage while the girls are off exploring. Here are some photos of my trip. How's your weekend shaping up?      |

Looks like a nice place. The toe must feel worse than it looks. Enjoy the adult beverage,  When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Well, Dang!! Lol! Glad you got away for a weekend! Sorry about your car door deciding to get involved. Nice view on the bed too! I mean from the bed!  Start my family road trip/vacation tomorrow. Driving up to Denver for a family wedding then to Yellowstone for vacation. Back through the Dead Hills, Omaha and Kansas City to home. If only I were traveling alone AND passing through your area and you were free for dinner! Lol! Hugs!!

I miss those legs. They are amazing, as always. I hope you had a great trip and are recovering well. I'm doing pretty okay. Lots of work travel, but it's mostly done now. Family vacation in a couple of weeks. Pergola!!!!!!

Spent a weekend there last year, it is beautiful and very eclectic. Love that staircase, took the same pic myself. Hope you healed up ok!
