Road trip

I am headed to Kansas City this morning. My will be accompanying me. We plan to meet up with my sister and have a fun girls weekend with her . I am certain a lot of shopping will be on the agenda.

We have a really nice hotel booked. My leg injury is slowly improving. I managed to get in just shy of 30 miles on the elliptical pain free this week. I'm looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after being on my feet much of the day.

 If you get a chance, go to NKC for the Snake Saturday celebrations. And of course the basketball tournament. Lots to do in KC this weekend. You picked a great weekend for it.

 Much like GimmeAThrill, for my wife and me every weekend is a Pinky and the Brain weekend. But in our case we are always cleaning up from one party and preparing for the next party. At next week's party we are expecting 150 guests.

Your road trip sounds like a lot of fun. I wish you safe travels and enjoyment!

 I HOPE to get out of the lazy-ass mode I’ve been in since returning from vacation exactly one month ago today, and get out and start some of the spring yard chores. Seems like I’d doing good so far – huh?

 Sounds like a memory making weekend for you gals.

I work the weekends. Thursday & Friday are my Saturday & Sunday. I love to cook for my spouse. She is unable to stand safely at the stove to cook for me since the after shock of her stroke.
but I now get so much pleasure cooking for her - I just noticed two weeks ago I whistle at the on set of my cooking spree.
She is my direction now.
Nothing as note worthy as your plans. I just quietly sit in my quiet corner of the living room in my favorite rattan chair with a coke and a bottle with a turkey on the label to close out my day.

 This weekend will be spent on my state's sanctioned motorcycle rider safety class.
Passing the class waives the state dmv written and skills test.
I will leave licensed to operate a motorcycle...
