Shit Stirrers. Are you One?
The Urban Dictionary defines a shit stirrer as: One who manipulates events to cause trouble for other people for their own amusement.

I've done a really good job containing my thoughts and rising above some of the pettiness of a handful of bloggers here. I may read an occasional blog posting from a so-called shit stirrer but I have never commented or supported any particular stance on issues shit stirrers in here create.

A particular spice girl that we all know, reports "I don't block anyone" has decided to block me from viewing her blog, her profile, etc. etc. Why this person chooses to block a benign person who creates no drama for her or anyone else is beyond me.

Yes, I am calling her out. Not that I give two shits but I would like an explanation. If she's going to be a shit stirrer, she needs to lick the spoon. End of Rant.

You are a guy, GB. Guys have far fewer issues with shit stirring because typically shit stirring is done by women out of jealousy and cattiness to each other.

 I dont think I have your level tolerance or self control, ignoring the temptation to burst their bubble until now is definitely worthy of note !

I cant help but say something if its a bullshit blog. Just today a girl used 2 of my posts, even quoting one title, to back up her, same but differently worded,
poor me rant.
Problem was she changed what I said in one and completely didnt understand the one written metaphorically so decided to make her own assumptions.

Without being rude I slammed her and exposed her bullshit, felt pretty good too so I say go for it. Are you enabling by ignoring her ??

Ignoring a person only goes so far. I believe we as a society have become more complacent and to some degree that is a good thing. However, there is a difference between being complacent by rising above the other person and letting them know in much more specific terms that they wronged someone. After all, if I wronged someone, I would want to know so I can take corrective measures to right the wrong. Maybe that's just my upbringing. I realize there are people here who don't care whose toes they step on.

 I just ignore them. I know who you are talking about; after reading some of her post and comments, I just skip over anything she writes.

There is another blogger who had blocked me over to benign comment I posted on her blog; I stated my comments where in jest and I even apologized. I she her using a new username now, and has not blocked me under her new account, but I just stay clear of her comments as well. I don't want her loading the catapults with shit and starting a shit storm.

 My dear Myelin36, you are clever and insightful, yet always sensitive and gentle. You are like an angel walking among us mere mortals. Why would anyone block and angel?

Perhaps I'm too innocent to know the answer. But I'd prefer to believe that I am too logical to understand her reasoning. Either way, a problem that only exists in the mind of another human is a problem that you can never solve. I know it's difficult (or at least surprising), but you must let it go.

 I've never had any issues with other bloggers..... The only people I ban are guys who are hitting on me... My profile clearly states I have no interest in guys.
