Personal Logo Contest

Design a cool logo for your Blog, Group, or even your Profile, and win some swag!

We're not saying there's anything wrong with Ariel Normal, but maybe you have a few ideas on how to make that text jump off the screen. If you're a Photoshop whiz, or just know how to push around some interesting fonts and colors, we've got a contest for you!

Create an original logo design and send it to us... be inventive, be striking, be amusing, and we'll pick out our three favorites for the top prizes of 1-year Gold memberships! Plus another five Honorable Mentions will take home 500 points each!

Here's what you need to know;

1.) Using whatever means you wish, create a logo design based on your Profile handle, your Blog title, or a Group title to which you are an active member (associate membership is not acceptable). You may not use the title of another member's Blog, Group or Profile.

2.) You may incorporate any image (or imagery) you have fair use rights to, in any way you wish within the HotMatch.com Terms of Use, but the complete and exact title of your Blog/Group or the handle of your Profile must be present somewhere in the design. Where permissible, you may change your Blog/Group title–but keep in mind that your submission needs to be matching when the judges review it at the time the contest ends.

3.) Images must be static. No GIF or Flash animations.

4.) All entries must be sent in .gif or .jpeg format.

5.) Send your entry to personallogo2007@friendfinderinc.com. The deadline for all entries is 11:59 PM on January 17, 2007.

6.) All General Adult FriendFinder Contest Rules apply.

Prizes:

Three (3) 1-year gold memberships or other paid feature(s) up to time equivalent
Five (5) awards of 500 points

Now let's see who is picked out.. who did the nicest job here? hope you guys pick me, I worked on mine for a long time and sure could use some kind of pay back for my hard work

Thanks guys it did give me an encourgent to try some more playing graphics/logo's. I had a great time with it.

Thank you for your comments. The pictures posted to this blog are not the official entries. In order for the entry to count you must send your entry by email in .jpg or .gif format. If you do not know how to do this then you might not be able to participate in this contest. Perhaps you can get a friend to show you how to save a photo as a .jpg or .gif format.

Why did you choose the way that are difficult and the means of E-mail?

 Well I sent mine in, and decided that either way I will be using it on my Blog since it is a represntation of the person I am inside. Would be nice if the programmers could add a image box in the Blog description tables where members could upload their logos for everyone to seeing instead of having to add it to each individual Topic posting. You know how the group moderator can add an image to the group description.

Anyhow, I would of never of thought to having a logo to representing myself with.

That suggestion has been suggested and is being passed around a lot. It may be a feature that members may see in the future but currently we do not allow photos in the description tables of the blogs.

 I was wondering when are the prizes awarded? Contest closes on the 17th but when are the winners announced? How are the winners notified that they have won? Will the names of the winners be posted somewhere for people to check? I know, too many questions........but valid ones I think. Does anyone know?

Once the contest closes within the next day or two the winners will be announced on the blog for this account. The members who win the points will just have the points awarded to their account. The three (3) 1 year gold membership or other paid feature(s) up to time equivalent will have to contact the email address provided in this post to notify if they want the gold membership or another feature that we allow members. You are more than welcome to check back with this blog any time to see if your name is on the winner list.
