Have you ever fibbed to get into her pants? Why must I be so sexist, ladies have you ever fibbed to get your ankles pinned behind his ears?

have you lied about your age (yes I did)
have you give a fake name (yes I did)
have you just gone along with the lie because you want to get laid (yes I did)
lied about my relationship status (yes I did...but not with my current husband)

the poll is quite lame, but what will be fun will be reading all the "lies" and schemes that people have used or used on others to get laid.....

 it was a chick this friend had on the side convinced her to do a 3 way, i lied about everything i liked,
"what no way i love 98 degrees too!!!"
those words still haunt me...

 For some reason in our society women like to lie about their age. I don't understand it, but it is a tradition that goes way back in time. Some think it is impolite to ask a woman's age. I have seen many profiles here and at first I thought that many here lie about their age. Some are laughable. Normally it looks like the older women do this the most but lately I think the majority of women 35 and older do it.

 I have lied. But about small stuff to keep the conversation going like music or holiday. This was either in 1 night or during vacations. One of them was during a spring break.....and I did get a 3sum.

I dont lie about profession or relationship status.

 DISCLAIMER: My comments here are all in the context of A'F'F related activity. Outside of A'F'F - these behaviors are not nearly as prevalent - nor representative of how most women and men behave most of the time.

I'd say between 95-97% of the woman on A'F"F lie on their profiles - and lie to themselves. They have created a fantasy for themselves and they lie to themselves and on their profiles to perpetuate the false reality.

Men lie an awful lot too. The difference (it seems to me anyways) is that men mis-represent facts much more than their intentions. Woman on the other hand... deceive themselves to the point they can't be honest with men - because they are pretending - or playing in within a fabricated myth that is not who they really are.

 First, there is the old fashioned notion of having character. Next, with the exception of sociopaths, people are notoriously bad liars. And the more someone wants something, the worse they are at lying. It becomes one of those "Why Bother" things. May as well be honest and be done with it.
