As for my weekend: I ended up not going camping. All the camp sites were taken by the time I got out there. So we went boating instead. Tons of fun but... I'm going to spend the rest of summer, at least, trying to even out my sunburn. Spray sunscreen is a bit trickier than expected, and I'm striped.

4th of July, drought, and super high temps... be careful out there, everyone, and don't be stupid! Wildfires are not fun.

And no: I am not shaving Sassy. She might be comfortable and happier. But she also might try killing me in my sleep. I'm going with "rather safe than calling 911 at 2am"
