My Profile For Standards My Profile for Standards I AM NOT MEETING ANY NEW PEOPLE! In Bliss with my Viking even though we are 1000's of miles apart. Mostly I'm blogging and keeping up with friends. UPDATE 07/24/12: Interviews are over. I'm very happy with my team of 1. I'm not talking to any new men. There are a couple of guys I have been chatting with and hope to still set up meets with but given the track record over the last month I'm not really hopeful. We just got married and are trying to get pregnant again. We will be out of the country on our honeymoon until mid-June. Hopefully things will settle down by the summer and I'll be able to get back into the swing of things! Life's been a bitch for me, especially lately, so if you don't want to actually communicate and get to know each other, then I'm not what you are looking for. I warned you, I'm brutally honest! I am a full time mom to my young , have finished my masters, used to be a Teacher (miss it) but just not able to work full time since the spinal fusion in May 2009. I own lots of pets, lots of hobbies and have a big extended network of family and friends. I beleive that happiness is a choice we all make, if you're not happy then start making choices that get you to the point of being happy. That doesn't mean I'm always happy or never complain but I try to keep it all in perspective. We can't control anything but how we react to what life hands us. All you ever control is yourself. There is always someone out there who has it so much worse that we should be thankful for where we are and always those that have so much more than we do, that we should be reminded to share our blessings. I believe that anything is possible.(Notice I said possible, not easy) I know that Life is a double edged sword and nobody gets through with out a cut or two. I'm smart, funny, logical, enjoy a good conversation as much as a good romp, love to hang out and laugh, watch movies, go horseback riding, boating on a lake or canoeing down the Flint River. I am a smartassed bitch with a heart of gold. I am extremely independent and always try to find the joy in life. I grew up hard, fast and have lived through things that would put most people in a straight jacket. I've lived in everything from a one room shack with no indoor plumbing to a half million dollar home on Long Island. I can go from dirty cowgril to formal evening dress in an hour and a half...lol...I've spent my life rolling with the punches of extremes. Now I am trying to enjoy the rolling hills and fruits of my hard labor. I live life to the fullest, work hard, play hard!!
